Do you require a deposit?
Yes. To book your session or due date, the $125 session fee is required
Do you photograph weddings?
No, not at this time. I photograph newborns, children, maternity, families, and seniors.
Can you travel to my home for my newborn session?
Yes! Starting in 2018, all newborn sessions will be held in the comfort of your own home. Lauren will travel to you and set up a small area to photograph in near a window! We can also use areas like a bedroom for a more personal feel to your images if you’d like.
How long after my session until I can view and order my photos?
Around 14 days after your session you are able to come back to the studio for a reveal and ordering appointment. This is scheduled the day of your session.
When should I schedule my newborn session?
I recommend booking your newborn session as early as possible to ensure availability on my calendar. I block off time around your due date, and once your baby has arrived I will ask you to call or email me to set up an actual session date.
What should I bring to my newborn session?
I provide all of the wraps and blankets that you see in the photos, so all you need is your baby (preferably dressed in a button down/zip sleeper), feeding and changing needs.
I have ideas found on Pinterest with props that I want done with my newborn, can you do that?
Sometimes, depending on what it is. Props and themes tend to take away from the simple and natural style that I photograph in. It’s important that you choose a photographer who’s work represents the type of images you want. In order to uphold my artistic integrity, it’s important for me to only produce images like the ones you see in my previous work. With that said, I want to be respectful of something that is special to you, so I am open to discuss the idea you have in mind and determine if I am able to accommodate your request.
What should I wear to my session?
For all portrait sessions, please avoid wearing clothing with: logos, wording, busy patterns, bright colors, neon colors.
Newborn sessions — I recommend parents wear neutral tones and textures such as lace, knit, etc.
